The toe cap and lower part of the boot feature Shield Protect Max material that protects against abrasion and rocky surfaces. Waterproof membrane, molded ABS inner reinforcement, which provides rigidity to the sole as well as a 3M thermal lining that resists temperatures down to -4ºF (-20ºC). OrthoLite® removable insole combined with molded EVA foam. It also features the patented RECCO® system for finding people trapped under an avalanche or lost in hard-to-reach areas.
