The El Morocco Motel, located at 2975 Las Vegas Boulevard South, opened in 1964 as a sister property to the La Concha Motel. Designed by Paul R. Williams Associates, it featured a distinctive circular lobby. In 1973, the El Morocco expanded to include a casino, further cementing its place in Las Vegas's vibrant hospitality scene. However, by 1983, the casino closed, and the property transitioned through various uses before ultimately closing in 2004. The El Morocco was demolished shortly thereafter, marking the end of an era for this mid-century establishment.
